Program
The workshop will include short oral communications, illustrating poster presentations, and network meetings. It will promote both formal and informal interactions. An abstract book will be produced and distributed at the meeting.

Thematic sessions
Each one of the thematic sessions will be organized to maximize exchanges between participants and will include the following:
- an introductory presentation
- short oral communications (several posters will be chosen)
- a general and interactive discussion
Major themes
- Pathogen biology and epidemiology
- Host-pathogen interactions
- Genetics and breeding for resistance
- Disease assessments and management
- Screening techniques
Submitted abstracts will be classified according to the themes.
Networking sessions
These sessions are expected to foster future interactions among scientists concerned with ascochyta blight of the grain legumes. Breakout sessions for the main themes of the workshop will be organized and conducted by a chairperson chosen by the Scientific Committee.
Concluding session
This session will be used to present the conclusions of the workshop, discuss any developing networks of collaboration, organize any materials of the workshop to be published, discuss funding possibilities and decide on the venue for a possible future workshop.
